I once had a day job exactly like many of you have right now. I was an inner-city math and chemistry teacher for 14 years. Then I wrote a small 50-page booklet and started marketing it. It worked and in a couple months I had 3-4 more I was sellling.

I was doing quite well. One day, during my planning period at school I checked my orders and saw that I had about $1,400 in orders from just that morning. I made a decision right there to put an end to the bull-sh*t bureaucratic fumbling I had to endure everyday in the classroom.

I walked down to my building principal's office after school, handed him my lesson plan book and keys and told him I was quitting. He asked when I was going to quit. I said, "I just did!" It was the greatest feeling in the world.

I had a lot of my fellow teachers tell me that it would never work. They told me I couldn't make money selling my books online. They said I would fail and regret the day that I told my boss to kiss off.

Using my blueprint I set up a pre-sell page for the product (actually two different ones) and wrote a few articles using my system of optimizing them using LSI techniques. I created some back-links to my sales page (not many) but I got them from sites my research indicated would help a lot.

I Made The Front Page Of Google!
To my utter amazement within 3 days my pre-sell page was ranking #1 on the front page of Google, (and not for some long-tailed keyword phrase) but for the exact name of the product. About 377,000 pages were returned and mine was #1.

The Very Next Day I Owned The #2 Spot...
But that was just the beginning. A day later my second pre-sell page showed up at the #2 position on Google for the exact name of the product as well.

I Was Competing With Myself For The #1 Position On The Front Page Of Google!
And then, but the end of the week I also had one of my articles show on the front page of Google for the exact name of the product as well. I owned three of the top ten positions on the front page of Google for this product.

This Was Not A Fluke
I used my same blueprint to get top listings for top Clickbank products again and again. And my front page Google listings were not for some funky long-tailed keywords like others show you, they were for the exact name of the product I was promoting.

Above shows that I had three front page listings on Google for Rob Benwell's Rat Race Annihilation, a top-selling Clickbank product. One was an eZine Article and the other two were for money pages (pre-sell pages) of mine.

#3 And #4 Out Of Over 24,000,000 Results
Above is an eZineArticle and my sales page for my BMLB Selling eBooks page on the front page of MSN (now Bing). There are over 24,000,000 results returned for this exact term.

I Documented Everything I Did
The one good thing I did was to document everything I did. I made a detailed map of what I did, when I did it, and why. I had a plan that worked. I could dominate Google for any product name I picked. It was an exciting time. I tried this again and again and it worked like clockwork.
